FEVER
+ Fever is a prayer. I made fever to remind myself that I did not start here. Telling stories about gods that had already spit me out. About fear that had already taken everything from me. I was born not knowing who I was, what my body was, slone without myself and I found them. They were waiting for me, calling to me. I said shed and I shed that skin. Bad past selves annihilated by something good other people planted in me and taught me. I utter myths that were written in blood waiting for the nightmare to end. I made fever because I thought god was watching. Fever is an ode to rebirth. Fever is a thank you to those that have loved me and allowed me to be reborn.
