Omamori
a preparation. one spirit leaves the body. ten thousand return.
i will be the rightful god of this new body.
i will dream of death. i will dream of swimming in clear water. i will dream of blood and of being in the mountains.
all ten thousand spirits will have these dreams.enter with your shoes off. come quietly. bring an offering for the good luck of dreams.
1) room will be steamed and
prepared, a bed of rice created for the body
2) the offering wrapped, the hearts of a magnolia will be cut out and burnt to ash
3) the knife will be heated and the ash will be painted in two circles on the offering’s body to allow the spirit to exit and enter the room
